Please see below for dance styles we have. The selection of music will be partially decided by requests from class attendees. We will include some line dancing.

Each sequence dance will be demonstrated as a reminder before we start the dance if requested.

U3A Dancing Lesson Every Tuesday at 17:00–19:00...

Each week we play a selection of music for various dance styles including:
Argentine Tango, Bachata, Blues, Bolero, Bossa Nova, Calypso, Ceroc, Cha Cha Cha, Charleston, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Jive, Line Dance, Mambo, Merengue, Modern Jive, Paso Doble, Quickstep, Rumba, Salsa, Samba, Saunter, Swing, Tango, Social Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Slow Waltz, West Coast Swing and more.

Our dancers are from many different countries and span a large age range. Therefore we play music requested by our dancers of many different styles. For example our British dancers enjoy sequence dances such as: Rumba One, Argentine Stroll, Balmoral Blues, Sindy Swing, Sweetheart Waltz, Sally Ann Cha Cha, Melody Foxtrot, Mayfare Quickstep, Square Tango, Saunter Together and we have most of these every session. Our Spanish dancers prefer their own styles of Paso, Bolero, Bachata, Merengue and Tango and our North American dancers love Night Club 2 Step, West Coast Swing and our South American dancers and French dancers have different requirements for Line Dancing and Waltzes and so on!
